Our story… It's a family business
Several years ago Gabriel and Taylor mentioned to their stepfather that they dreamed of owning their own excavation company. From that moment on, Claude began the search to find a company that would give Gabriel and Taylor a most rewarding and stimulating career.
Gabriel has extensive experience in mini-excavation, whether residential or commercial while Taylor has extensive experience in residential construction following certification in advanced construction housing carpentry. With their knowledge they both form a great team for all your excavation needs.
They are able to advise their clients in order to optimize their experience. For them, attention to detail is very important and this ensures that they offer incomparable customer service!
Gabriel and Taylor are brothers-in-law, friends but above all teammates who demonstrate exceptional teamwork. Being young and dedicated, they will do anything for the success of their business.

Our specialties
Foundation repair
Foundations are the base of your home, don’t let crack or damage ruin the integrity of your house. Our expertise and variety of affordable waterproofing products makes us leaders in foundation repair. Here’s a quick walk around of the steps we follow for a proper foundation repair :
- We meet with our clients to visit the site and we suggest the appropriate type of work required based on our observations and the visible damage.
- We excavate around the foundation and inspect the damage to be repaired.
- We wash the foundation to make sure it’s clean before we start
- We ensure the proper functioning of the french drain by replacing it.
- We repair the cracks in the foundation; install rebar if needed or insert epoxy into the cracks
- We install a waterproofing membrane (many options are available)
- We backfill the excavated area and ensure that the proper filling is used to avoid further foundation wall damage.
- We make sure the premises is cleaner than when we arrived.
Stabilization
When a sinking foundation problem occurs, here’s what you should be on the lookout for : cracks that appear on inside or outside foundation walls, doors and window that get stuck when you try to open them, cracks that appear on the basement concrete slab and the chimney moving away from the house’s walls are all signs that the structure’s foundations are experiencing problems. The use of helical piles can be a great solution. Our piles can easily be installed under existing structures. While installing piles will not repair existing cracks, this will stabilize the structure and prevent further damage or sinkage from happening. Engineered and made of galvanised steel, helical piles are known for their outstanding performance in matters of load bearing. Septic system
Whether it’s replacing a damage, repairing or doing maintenance to an existing septic system or installing a brand new septic system, Trudel Excavation can help you through the process with professional work as a certified installer company. We are experienced in Shallow Buried Trenches, Ecoflo Biofilter, Eljen GSF System and Conventional system.
Replacing your septic system is not always the solution. We can also provide a camera inspection of your septic system to help you find a more accurate solution to your problem and save you money.
